So fair a day.

So I watched Superman Returns last night. Hilariously corny storyline, but that's how Superman is, right? Haha. Really slow-moving movie, I was even shuting my eyes at some parts (You wouldn't even miss out on anything.). Heh, well, we had a silly Osim goodie bag with Centrum (?!), Calcium pills, a notepad and Robitussin Cough drops. It's good. I mean, the honey candies (cough drops ahem ahem!)

Heh well, went to say hello with Lynette to Jeremy & Thomas and Ian was busy serving a customer. Haha! Met up with Thomas later, went for a little supper, and yeap. Reached home at 11.30pm.

Julia and I were lamenting all morning + afternoon + anytime we could whine -- that we were so bored. We indeed were! Let me describe to you what duty we were assigned to: It's called. Bag Duty. (signals for laughter) Haha. When we heard it we were like "Wwwwhaaat?" First thing you think of is garbage bags! Haha, well it was to give out something like goodie bags, with only one map of the school in it, and a school propaganda brochure. Haha, yes, a pathetic goodie bag. Teachers + parents were curiously poking around in it and laughed at what they found. Haha = embarrassing.

Basic Info: People were streaming in at the estimated rate of 3 people in 15 minutes.

Mr Goh gave us an interesting briefing, what with references to Paul Twohill & charming sales ladies he would have married. Later on we were instructed to collect 1500 'goodie bags' from the 'Switch Room' Hahaha.

Tell you what. All in all, we only gave out an estimated value of 8 boxes of 70, which is equivalent to 560. Originally we had 21 boxes of 70. You do the math.

So we set up the bag booth and yeah. Started giving out + stoning + sighing at 1030. Man! We were in the same few positions for 2 hours until lunch break, when we were starving & going-to-die-orelly. Heh, lunch was pretty good, and I heard it cost $1.20 per person. Yup. Went back to rescue Agnes, Jasmine, Nura & Cheryl from the bag booth and then stood in the same few positions (as the same few positions) for another 4 and a half hours. YES. JULIA + LOUISA = SUPERGIRLS. Haha.

I'd politely like to add. We were grouped with Rainer, Michelle and Xian Da. Rainer disappeared every time. Michelle left (and never came back - predicted & true) and Jules and I were left with Xian Da, who didn't know nuts about the workshops or anything (didn't remember notices on the board), so he's as close to being a wood block, or a chair, for today. Haha. So we two girls took charge! -whistles Superman soundtrack-

Heh, well it was fun. Running away from Normila to get refreshments, leaving X.D (this is not a emoticon haha) abandoned at the table, sneaking 3 metres away to watch some performances and having a little Pepsi for the day. Julia dragged a trolley of more than 40 water bottles to the SL slack room, and I carried a box of food for 35 people. Song En commented "Wha, Louisa the tai tai's doing some work!". Thanks uh. Haha.

The NCC Performance (the most memorable since I never watched it before) was hohoho-funny. Julia and I were laughing at this fellow who couldn't stop laughing & grinning (initials: M.C), while 99% of them were having straight, stern faces. Well, after that a couple of them also had want-to-burst-out-laughing-but-cannot-burst-out faces. Haha, that was even funnier. We started cracking up, and I think that made them want to laugh somemore. Haha.

Balloon pops. Julia and I cheer. Haha, lame joke.

Oh well, went home after that, even though had time to rush&beabitlate for church. Was too sticky to bear. Yup, that's about all for today.

It feels strange to be home on a Saturday.

Some sneaks at yesterday's opening of the MOE ExCEL Fest. Those red 'chillies' are also my dancing charsiews and Meiyi's dancing prawns. Btw, the guy at the top looks like he's posing Superman style. :D
